Journey ahead

I have been affected by my roomie and our neighbour's joyous mood ever since their last marketing examination yesterday afternoon. The meals that we had from last dinner till an hour ago were the best in this semester, although they were a whole lot more expensive than the usual $2plus food we had. Considering that it's a great way to end this awfully tedious semester by treating ourselves with something better, it's quite worth it.

Finally gave my blog a brand new image after overloading the last one with teeny words and bad background, and of course, buckets of emotional burdens. Well there is still one examination paper to go before I can offically declare the end of the semester, but somehow I am already in the holiday mood while counting down the days to Christmas. This year's Christmas will be a pretty different one from the past few years, even the feel to it has changed quite abit. Everything seemed to have changed even without me noticing it among all the buzz in these eleven months: new things, new people, new environment; and the new reactions I didn't know I would make if everything were to have happened in the past.

My roomie and I took our own sweet time in the shower last night (and in different cubicles in the female dorm's toilet) and chatted about presents and our friends. She told me she wanted to go back to the secondary school days, and we both emo-ed in the shower because of the thought. Back then everyone was so honest and true to each other without any masks and fake friendliness. The world we are facing now is so different, and not really in a good way. It is really a miracle that we have all made it so far in this year, despite all the challenges that got in the way. And I am glad we stayed close together in all these shit. May we advance with more wisdom and strength to handle all the unpleasantness.
